AUTOBIOGRAPHY-Rhandy Christian Khimuray

Most of my friends knew me as a basketball player. Yes that’s right, I love basketball since I was in junior high school. However, my carrier as a basketball player is not as smooth as the other players. At first I didn’t play on starting five, but I didn’t give up easily. I kept practicing everyday to prove that I had the ability to be one of them and also to make girls admire me. Well... Subsequently, now, I get what I wanted: to be the starting five though I spent a lot of time practicing new skill and to have a girlfriend, Michelle, who loves me and I love her too.

OOops... I forgot to introduce myself. I’m Rhandy Christian Khimuray, a 19 years old boy who have a simple life and family: Mom, Dad, and a Sister. My father’s name is Nikko Khimuray. Yahh.. I adopted my father’s family-name: Khimuray. Using it, people think that I’m Japanese. No! It’s wrong! I’m evidently a Chinese. My mother name is Anita and my sister name is Niki. I love my family so much although honestly, almost everyday I fight with them.

I was born in Surabaya on July 13th, 1990. I absolutely know, at that time, my mother and father were so happy because I was born with the proper weight of baby and also I have eyes that big and beautiful. Nothing special in my childhood. I just looked like the other kids but I felt very happy because my mom and dad were so care of me, not like now, they have been very busy with their work so that they only have less time to accompany me.

Now I’m studying in the third semester of business school in UPH Surabaya. Due to the fact that I’m the only son they have, I’m also working hard in my school so that my parents can be proud of me. Basically, in Chinese tradition, a son always becomes the next generation to be a leader for the family. This propelled me to do best in everything I do. In the first semester, my GPA was only 2,44 but in the second semester and short-term semester, I got 3,14. It is like an absolute proof that I have tried so hard to increase my score.

I graduated from Petra 3 Senior High School, Surabaya that famous as Petra “Kalianyar”. In this school I found many new friends from almost every top school in Surabaya. I enjoyed that time because I could have many time to spend with them. But now I feel greater because I have a girlfriend who support me and accompany me every time I have and also a lot of friends from my high-school and UPH university.

Thank God, because of Him, my life is so wonderful and makes me more patient to go through to my destiny. And I want to tell you something. In this life, never GIVE UP with any suffer and hardness before you try to do it and if you have tried but you failed, just keep trying and I believe that God will do the rest... One more thing! If you keep being patient in doing everything, you will get all things that are beautiful at that time.
