HOW TO WRITE AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY

How do you know that this is Mahatma Gandhi's picture? Is he your uncle or your neighbor? No, although we have never met him, we can learn many things from Gandhi because there are people who wrote about him.

How do you know that this is Florence Nightingale's picture? Is she your sister or your nurse? No, although we have never met her, we can learn many things from Lady of the Lamp because there are people who wrote about her.

Start your autobiography with an interesting punchline or a dramatic story to grasp your readers' attention. This is what we call orientation in composing process essay. Then present your life stories in chronological order. After having such sequence of events in the body, close your essay with two kinds of paragraph. The first one is conclusion, to provide a closure for readers; satisfaction. Don't forget to add a coda, a short message of what can be learned from your life story.

Have a gorgeous experience of sharing your life for others!
